Following the “Dream of Red Mansions”, “Outlaws of the Marsh” and “Journey to the West”, Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press also launched a grand bilingual version of “Three Kingdoms.” At this point, all four well-known Chinese-English versions of the internationally renowned translator’s ingenuity have been released, and the charm of the Chinese classical masterpiece has sprung up again. The newly published Romance of the Three Kingdoms (Chinese-English) was translated by Professor Yu Sumei and reviewed by Ronald C. Iverson. This is the first one translated by the Chinese one hundred and twenty “Romance of the Three Kingdoms,” the entire text, the translation is smooth, straightforward, accurate, with the necessary cultural notes.
