针对虚通道技术导致片上网络(NoC)面积增加的问题,提出了一种基于遗传算法的NoC虚通道分配算法.该算法利用分析模型计算出路由器每个输入端口的带宽利用率,并将该问题转化为遗传优化问题,根据所有端口带宽利用率的分布情况,引入遗传算法实现虚通道资源的分配.仿真结果表明:该算法有效地利用了系统的缓冲资源,提高了吞吐量;在保证网络性能的前提下,与均匀分配算法和贪婪分配算法相比,该算法可节省约39.6%的虚通道资源.
Aiming at the problem of increasing the area of on-chip network (NoC) due to the virtual channel technology, a noC virtual channel allocation algorithm based on genetic algorithm is proposed, which uses the analysis model to calculate the bandwidth utilization of each input port of the router, Which is based on the distribution of bandwidth utilization of all the ports, introduces the genetic algorithm to realize the allocation of virtual channel resources.The simulation results show that the algorithm effectively uses the system’s buffer resources and improves the throughput, and guarantees the network performance , This algorithm can save about 39.6% virtual channel resources compared with the uniform allocation algorithm and the greedy allocation algorithm.
