在今天,Google已经成为人们使用互联网的一种重要方式,《新闻周刊》载文认为,Google已经成为一种文化,它使每个人与任何问题的答案之间的距离仅仅是点击一下鼠标。这是一个无法想象的数字。“Google作为专业的搜索引擎”,其胃口如同它的名字一样,大得出奇。目前Google每个月接待来自世界各地的超过2800万独立访问者的1.5亿次查询。全球网民通过Google可以使用86种语言,搜索30多亿个网页及其网页快照,以及4亿多张图片,8亿个新闻公告。每个月Google被用户使用的时间为1500万小时左右。它像个巨大的电子图书馆,迅捷而方便地向网络用户提供全面的信息资料。
