在南京市教育界,金陵中学坚持走“全面发展、全面推进、全面提高”的素质教育之路,因而取得了让学生、家长满意,社会认可的教育教学成果。历年高考成绩突出,在南京市名列前茅。如2006届学生高考上线人数在南京市与南师附中并立第一。本科上线率(含体艺)达83．4％。其中,生物、历史、政治、地理四学科南京市最高分的考生,均为金陵中学的学生。同时,金陵中学在南京还享有“学科竞赛在金中”的赞誉。仅2005和2006年,在省级以上学科竞赛活动中,荣获省级一等奖以上的学生就达80人次。
In Nanjing’s education sector, Jinling Middle School adheres to the road of “all-round development, comprehensive advancement, and comprehensive improvement” of quality education, and thus has achieved educational and teaching results that satisfy students, parents, and society. The performance of the college entrance examination over the years was outstanding, and it ranked first in Nanjing. For example, the number of students on the 2006 college entrance examination was the first in Nanjing and Nanshi Middle School. The bachelor’s upline rate (including physical art) reached 83.4%. Among them, candidates with the highest scores in biology, history, politics, and geography in Nanjing were Jinling Middle School students. At the same time, Jinling Middle School also enjoys the praise of “the academic competition in Jinzhong” in Nanjing. In 2005 and 2006 alone, in provincial-level or higher discipline competitions, the number of students who won the provincial first-level or above was 80.
