Subcortical arteriosclerotic encephalopathy (SAE) previously considered rare, with the application of CT and MRI and pathology, and found that the elderly population is not uncommon. 1 Subjects and Methods Subjects: Fifty patients confirmed by brain CT examination between May 1996 and December 1996. 41 males and 9 females, aged 46 to 86 years old, with an average age of 67.5 years. CT scanner for the Japanese Toshiba TCT-400S type CT machine to listen to the adjacent line as the baseline to the skull scan. Layer thickness 10mm, interval 10mm, sweep 9 layers. Head CT examination, the main evaluation of the lateral ventricle shows a better level. Key clinical examinations include gait, muscle strength, blood pressure and biochemical tests, and medical history highlights arteriosclerosis, hypertension and heart disease.
