去年9月5日,笔者到盐亭县富驿镇民主村小学,采访了参加’95四川省乡村教师夏令营归来的民办教师冉国建。这是川北农村一所普通的乡村小学。早晨7点过,冉国建老师已早早到校,把村小办公室打扫干净后,民主村小学上课的钟声就敲响了。大槐树下那口送走山里孩子童年岁月的钟,冉国建在一下又一下的敲击中度过了26个春秋。他用生命的赤诚与热爱敲击着钟,给山里孩子智慧的启迪。当人们听到钟声很响亮时,便知是冉国建任值周老师。冉国建总是把那口钟敲得很响很响。1969年秋,高中毕业的冉国建回乡当了一名乡村民办教师,那年他才20岁。一晃26年过去了。他还是乡村民办教师,月工资仅180元。前年,冉国建靠自学取得了中师函授文凭,而他扎根山区小学执教的痴情依然如故。26年里,成群的山里娃在冉老师的培育下成才,而冉国建自己却记不清曾为贫困学生送过多少笔墨等学习用具,鼓励过多少幼小的脆弱的心灵。有个叫陈善远的学生家中失火,父母伤亡,刚读小学四年级的陈善远面临失学,冉国建毫不犹豫地承担了他读至小学毕
