本文研究７８例慢性肾病超声图像，根据肾的长径，肾皮质回声及宽度，肾窦与肾面积比率和肾实质回声强度的改变以及皮、髓质（锥体）分界模糊分成四型。以血肌历浓度为标准把临床肾功能不全分四期，发现慢性肾病四型与肾功能不全明确对应关系。超声图像的此种分型与肾病的严重度和肾功能有关。但与病理类型无特殊关系。对指导治疗以及推测其预后均有现实意义。
