生于比利时的ALAIN GILLES曾在国际金融机构服务多年,但一直对设计怀着无限热诚。离开金融业后他修读产品设计学,并于2007年开设了自己的工作室,在产品、家具设计、美术指导、室内设计等范畴尽情发挥他的个人风格。他曾跟多个知名产品、家具品牌合作,作品也为他带来多项国际性奖项,包括红点最佳设计大奖和亚洲最具影响力设计金奖。下期杂志将呈现本刊在2013年香港设计营商周期间对他进行的专访。
Born in Belgium, ALAIN GILLES has worked in international financial institutions for many years but has always had a passion for design. After leaving the financial industry, he studied product design and opened his own studio in 2007 to give his personal style as much as possible in areas such as product design, furniture design, art direction and interior design. He has worked with a number of well-known products, furniture brands, and his works also brought him a number of international awards, including the best red dot design award and Asia’s most influential design gold medal. The next issue of the magazine will feature an interview with him during the Hong Kong Design and Business Week 2013.
