语言是交际工具,外语教学的目的是把外语用作交际工具。但是学界对通过什么途径来最有效地教外语、学外语的看法却并不一致。就中国的外语教学而言,所采用的传统教学法有语法翻译法、听说法等。20世纪70年代后期,交际语言教学法进入中国并被广泛地运用到了实际的外语教学中,然而在已过去的这20多年里,它并没有给中国外语教学带来预期的效果,传统的语法翻译和听说教学法仍然活跃在许多外语课堂中。本文将对影响交际语言教学法在中国的运用和发展的潜在因素进行分析和归纳,并提出相应的克服措施和方法,更好地引导交际语言教学法在未来中国外语教学中的有效运用。
Language is a communication tool, and the purpose of foreign language teaching is to use a foreign language as a communication tool. However, scholars do not agree on the most effective ways to teach foreign languages and learn foreign languages. In terms of foreign language teaching in China, the traditional teaching methods used are grammatical translation method, listening and speaking method. In the late 1970s, communicative language teaching method entered China and was widely used in actual foreign language teaching. However, in the past 20 years, it has not brought the expected effect to foreign language teaching in China. The traditional grammar Translation and Listening and Speaking are still active in many foreign language classes. This article will analyze and summarize the potential factors that affect the use and development of communicative language teaching in China, and propose corresponding measures and methods to overcome these problems so as to better guide the effective use of communicative language teaching in foreign language teaching in the future.
