原子簇的激光产生与研究

原子簇是物质的一种特殊形态。我们知道,常温下铁是固体,当铁被加热至足够高温度气化时,就以孤立的原子存在。而介于这两种物态之间,由若干个铁原子组成的铁原子簇分子(如Fe_(10))则是另一种不同的物质形态。因此科学家们有时将原子簇称作是气、液、固、等离子体外的物质的“第五态”。

Cluster of atoms is a special form of matter. We know that iron is solid at normal temperatures and exists as isolated atoms when it is heated to a temperature high enough for gasification. The iron cluster molecules (such as Fe_ (10)), which are composed of several iron atoms between the two states, are different and different forms of matter. So scientists sometimes refer to clusters as the “fifth state” of matter outside the gas, liquid, solid, and plasma.
