为了在档案工作中实践江泽民总书记“三个代表”重要思想,满足广大群众及时了解党和政府的各项方针政策的需要,进一步推行政务公开,在武昌区委区政府的领导下,我们于2001年12月建立了现行文件阅览室,将“九五”以来各级机关制发的、尚未失效的、非涉密“红头文件”对社会提供服务。一年来共接待市民查阅239人次,提供利用文件500余件次,电话咨询100余人次。查阅文件有效率为45％。查阅现行文件的有工人、干部、教师等。其中工人占60％,干部和教师占20％。查阅的内容主要涉及劳动保险、低保、再就业、房屋拆迁补偿等方面的政策及规定。
