“策展人”这个角色引入到中国,更多的情形恐怕只能算是一种误读。各种充斥了大量专业术语让普通人深坠到云里雾里的展览,其实不过是策展人陡然念起的主题,连带上一帮弟兄们搞出的一场联谊活动。这种现状就像国人善于玩味的“关系”一样自然,纵然有所怀疑,大多数人却也乐此不疲。一个群展是否需要有一个视角来切入?展览本身的呈现方式是否重要?这似乎早已不在人们的考虑范围之内。
“Curator ” the introduction of this role to China, more cases I am afraid can only be regarded as a misunderstanding. Various exhibitions filled with a large number of technical terms to make the ordinary people fall into the foggy clouds are in fact only the topics that the curators suddenly read, together with a series of fellowship activities carried out by a group of their brothers. This status quo is just as natural as the “pampering” of people in the country. Even if you are skeptical, most people will never bored with it. Does a group exhibition need a perspective to cut in? Whether the presentation of the exhibition itself is important? It seems to have been out of people’s consideration.
