This is the Danish Creek Dok K1 Library, designed by the international company SCHMIDT HAMMER LASSEN ARCH I T EC T S. Located on the banks of the Aarhus River in Denmark, the project is set to become the largest public library in Scandinavia. The project “DOKK1” was won by SCHMIDT HAMMER LASSEN ARCHITECTS in 2009 and was completed in collaboration with KRISTINE JENSENS LANDSCAPE and ALEC TIA Engineering. This polygon building will house a large collection of books, a civic service center, an automatic parking garage and a town square on the side of the surrounding harbor.
