Li Xun is a progressive thinker in the middle and late Ming dynasty and a historian of great accomplishments. The culture and thoughts in the middle and late Ming Dynasty enriched his theory of thoughts. Quanzhou’s geographical environment and his personal family background have given his ideological theory a new era of factors. Conflict between family responsibilities and personality forms the characteristic of rebellion in his thought.
