中间包内安装湍流抑制器,并在其底部设置旋度一致的挡片,能够使经长水口注入的钢液在中间包冲击区内形成一个旋转的速度场。中间包内夹杂物在旋转流场中受到向心力的作用向中心汇集,长大上浮而去除。为了研究中间包内湍流抑制器设置挡片对夹杂物去除的具体影响,建立水模型实验。在水模型实验中,设挡片大小及旋度两个参数,每个参数有3个变量。实验结果表明,实验组3(b)挡片宽高为28 mm×40 mm,旋度为30°时去除夹杂物的效果最好。
