位于中国东南太平洋上的岛国——琉球王国,明清时期是中国的藩属国,与我国交往密切。中国先进的生产技术和思想文化逐渐在琉球传播,对琉球整个历史时期的政治、经济、文化等都产生了重要的影响。琉球古代钱币同样与中国传统文化息息相关、一脉相承。如长期流通使用中国历代铜钱,仿照中国钱币式样铸造发行圆形方孔的钱币,使用母钱翻砂铸币技术,钱币上也使用汉字等,深受中华古代货币文化的影响。
The island nation located in the southeast Pacific of China, the Kingdom of the Ryukyu, was a Chinese vassal state during the Ming and Qing Dynasties and had close contacts with our country. The advanced production technology and ideology and culture in China have gradually spread in Ryukyu and have had a significant impact on the politics, economy and culture of Ryukyu throughout the historical period. Ryukyu ancient coins also closely related to traditional Chinese culture, the same strain. Such as long-term circulation using Chinese ancient coins, imitation of Chinese coin style casting circular square coins, using the mother money sand casting technology, coins also use Chinese characters, by the ancient Chinese currency culture.
