由中国服装设计师协会组织的首届中国“十佳”服装设计师评比,已经在1995年揭晓。有关人士指出:首届“十佳”的产生。可以看作是中国服装设计师从第二代向第三代的过渡。其根据是,虽然他们是活跃在我国服装界的中坚力量,但是,他们属于五十年代到七十年代出生的人,年龄跨度将近20年,设计风格也从单纯强调“创意”的自我追求中脱离出来,追求一种最为实际的务实的风格。80年代初期以前他们属于留下了高超的手艺,也留下永久的遗憾的第一代
The first China“Top Ten” fashion designer competition organized by the China Fashion Designers Association was announced in 1995. Relevant persons pointed out: The birth of the first “Top Ten”.
