他汀类药物是一类降低胆固醇药物,同时也能够降低心血管疾病和中风患者死亡率。其作用机制主要是通过竞争抑制3-羟基辅酶A还原酶,减少胆固醇生物合成。同时他汀类药物能够分解白细胞介素产物,减少细胞因子生成,降低主要炎症指标C反应蛋白。因为肺部疾病一般具有炎症性特征,故他汀类药物在呼吸系统疾病中具有潜在治疗作用。
Statins are a class of cholesterol-lowering drugs that also reduce cardiovascular mortality and stroke deaths.
