由于工作的原因,我有过一些机会陪同全国人大常委会副委员长、民进中央主席许嘉璐先生,深为他对教育的关注和挚爱所感动。仅在苏州,他就走访过叶圣陶先生任教的原址、苏州工业园区职业技术学院、苏州外国语学校、吴江市金家坝乡小学和幼儿园、吴江市鲈乡小学、苏州幼儿师范学校等。每到一处,他都慰问教师、调查研究、发表意见,处处都留下他对教育的思考,也留下了他对教育的不安……民进第九次全国代表大会期间,我有幸得到了许副委员长亲自赠送的新著《未安集——许嘉璐说教育》。细读一遍,心潮澎湃。为了教育,许副委员长踏遍了多少山山水水?为了教育,许副委员长熬过了多少不眠之夜?正如他自己所说:“我国的教育事业正面临着前所未有的机遇和挑战,而其现实状况与中国的未来,与人们对它的希望和要求还有相当大的距离,作为一名关心和热爱教育事业的教师,怎能心安?”

During the Ninth National People’s Congress, I was fortunate to have got Xu, vice chairman personally presented a new book, “Unsettled - Xu Jialu said education.” Read it again, surging. In order to educate, how many vice chairmen traveled mountains and rivers? For education, how many vice presidents have survived a sleepless night? As he himself said: “China’s education is facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges, However, its reality is still far from China’s future and its people’s hopes and demands. How can one be a teacher who cares about and loves education? ”
