Bezoar is a valuable Chinese herbal medicine in our country. Due to its small output, it is far from meeting the needs of medical and health care. Through the efforts of the majority of medical workers, it has created the artificial bezoar in China. There are about 150 kinds of proprietary Chinese medicines formulated with artificial bezoar now. In addition to domestic needs, there are exports. At the beginning of 1978, the three departments of health, chemical industry and commerce jointly held the meeting of the four dirty biochemical pharmaceuticals. The meeting determined that artificial bezoar was listed as one of the varieties under the Ministry of Commerce.
