Intestinal barrier function is an important feature of the intestine, which consists of a mechanical barrier, an immune barrier, a chemical barrier and a biological barrier. Each barrier has a different structure, different molecular regulatory mechanisms and different biological functions, The signal pathways are organically combined to protect the host from foreign interference and invasion. Damage to these barriers by the plateau environment is a complex and interrelated process accompanied by changes in the inflammatory mediators and pathological processes in the body. The study of intestinal barrier dysfunction is an important issue in the field of medical research. This article reviews the mechanism of intestinal mucosal injury in this special natural environment.
