The speed of progress in China’s medical system reform has been dazzling in recent years. Almost overnight, the hospital suddenly pushed into the door of the market because of the financial allocation of the original financial support. In the past, the very patient “patient” suddenly turned into a strange “customer” and let it be large and small. The small deans felt helpless. A dean in Shanghai said: “We used to be basically medical experts. We are accustomed to straight-line engineers thinking. What we need to do in hospital management is often divergent thinking, especially when it comes to marketing.” In this reshuffled game, China Europe International Business School seems to have found its place: to cure the market leaders of these technical indications and help them transition to professional directors.
