“德”(得音译)本意为健康,在藏语中“姑述德唐”则指贵体健康的意思。例如,为了祝福子女一生平安、幸福成长,父母常常为自己的女儿取名叫德吉,而在藏语中“德吉”便是幸福、吉祥的意思。在日常人际交往过程中人们也会经常以“扎西德勒!”(吉祥如意!)一词来相互问候、相互祝福。其中“扎西”是吉祥的意思,“德勒”则是身体健康或好运的意思。因此,在藏族人群中就会有很多叫扎西的同名男子。
