大葱种属短寿命种子,在常温下贮藏1～2年,保持种子发芽率在80%以上,由于葱种繁育时间长,一般从育苗到产种需要2～3年,且市场需求波动大,很难适应种子市场需求,因此,种子贮藏就是一个关键问题。长期以来,一直采取低温贮藏,但由于多数种子公司不具备低温库,所以存放种子就需租用低温冷库,这样,增加了贮藏费用,提高了种子成本,不利于种子生产经营。
