我国在研究法国新古典主义绘画代表达维特方面,虽出版了一些著述,但资料掌握尚嫌陈旧。这里发表的这一篇文章是于1989年应巴黎重新展出达维特一些不为人知的作品而写,它能提供一些新的补充资料,以利研究。有眼力的画商能发现有前途的画家。而画家的声誉几乎离不开敏感的画商,这是西方艺术市场三百多年来的基本规律。这里先译介了一位纽约年轻画商,他们每一个人的自我剖析,有助于我们在艺术经营上的借鉴。
My research on the French neoclassical painting Davide, although published a number of writings, but the information is too old to grasp. This article, published here, was written in 1989 in Paris to re-show some of David Davide’s unknown works. It can provide some additional information to facilitate the study. An effective painter can find promising painters.
