由天津世界当代史研究会主办的国际和平年学术讨论会于1986年11月13日举行。来自天津哲学、社会科学界从事世界当代史和国际问题研究及教学工作的五十多位专家、学者围绕第二次世界大战后的战争与和平、和平与发展问题展开了热烈的讨论。这次会议集中对美苏争霸的历史和现状、当代世界矛盾中的主要“热点”、第三世界国家的经济和政治、战后国际关系的若干理论问题及我国的对外政策等进行了认真的探讨,充分体现了理论、历史和现实相结合的学术特点。天津市委宣传部和南开大学国际问题研究中心
The International Year of Peace Conference, sponsored by Tianjin World Association for Contemporary History, was held on November 13, 1986. More than 50 experts and scholars from the Tianjin philosophy and social science circles engaged in the research and teaching of contemporary world history and international issues started a lively discussion on the issues of war and peace, peace and development after the Second World War. The conference focused on the history and current status of the U.S.-Soviet hegemony, the major “hot spots” in the contradictions in the contemporary world, the economic and political affairs of the third world countries, some theoretical issues concerning the post-war international relations and China’s foreign policy.
