中小企业为台湾地区经济的发展作出了重要的贡献,成为台湾经济的主力军。虽然近年来,台湾岛内因劳动力成本不断高涨等原因导致很多中小企业外移。但截至2008年末,台湾中小企业数量仍占企业总数的97.64%,提供了76.57%的就业机会,创造了28.75%的销售额和17.31%的出口额。然而中小企业因融资困难等问题,其发展一直受到资金的制约。特别是在1974年左右,全球性的石油危机、通货膨胀导致台湾中小企业的生存环境极度恶化,严重影响了台湾经济的发展。为改善中小企业的融资环境
Small and medium enterprises have made important contributions to the economic development in Taiwan and become the mainstay of Taiwan’s economy. Although in recent years, many small and medium enterprises have been relocated due to rising labor costs in Taiwan island. However, as of the end of 2008, the number of Taiwan’s SMEs still accounted for 97.64% of the total number of enterprises, providing 76.57% of employment opportunities and generating 28.75% of sales and 17.31% of exports. However, due to financing difficulties and other issues, SMEs have been constrained by the development of their funds. Especially around 1974, the global oil crisis and inflation led to the extremely deteriorating living conditions of the SMEs in Taiwan, seriously affecting the economic development of Taiwan.
