党的十一届三中全会以来,我们把勤工俭学作为办好社会主义学校的一项重要措施来抓。根据市场信息和办学育人的需要,充分发挥学校教学人员和科技人员的知识优势,不断开辟新的门路,更新产品,扩大生产项目,使勤工俭学由无到有,由少到多,由单项的工农业生产发展到农工商综合经营,教学科研并举,年总产值和纯收入逐年增高。近五年来,学校勤工俭学总产值达210万元,纯收入78万元。预计1984年总产值可突破100万元,纯收入可达40万元。这些成绩的取得,一个重要的经验是:要广辟勤工俭学门路。

The annual gross output value and net income have been increasing year by year. In the past five years, the total output value of work-study program in the school reached 2.1 million yuan and the net income was 780,000 yuan. It is estimated that the total output value of 1984 will exceed 1 million yuan and net income will reach 400,000 yuan. An important lesson to be drawn in these achievements is that we should extensively open the door to work-study.
