听,是一种交际行为。无论是有意识还是无意识的,都是对声音信息的接受和理解,是一种最基本的交际行为。听的目的就是为了获取一定的信息内容,如听讲座、听电话、听天气预报等,它跟说话的方式没有多大的关系。听,是一种心理过程。听,它是主动积极的,从外部传来的声音信息,首先要经过听力器官的感知、切取,然后再经过加工、筛选、整理,形成记忆,最后到信息的反馈。它是多种心理活动的过程。听是输入,听是获得信息的重要手段,是理解和获取口头信息交际能力的体现,是外语学习的基础。
