中华人民共和国文化部为了总結与交流话剧工作的经验,提高话剧的思想、艺术水平,捉进话剧事业进一步发展,以更好地为社会主义服务,在2月20日至3月4日举行了话剧观摩演出。参加这次观摩演出的話剧院、团共十二个,先后演出了十二个剧目。計有:中国青年艺术剧院的《降龙伏虎》、四川人民艺术剧院的《丹凤朝阳》河北省话剧团的《红旗谱》、中华全国总工会工人话剧团的《比冀齐飞》、上海人民艺术剧院的《枯木逢春》、中国人民解放军前线话剧团的《东进序曲》、中央戏剧
