王亚雄是一位致力于工艺美术创作的艺术家。他的创作包括家具、文房用具、茶具、酒器、书籍装帧、陈设器等等,涉及面广,又独特雅致。尤其难得的是,在他的作品里,既有传统文人的审美理想,也有现代人热爱自然、热爱生活、积极向上的真挚情感。而且,他的创作手法非常有特点,而且完全使用自然材料,皆可以在生活中使用,并强调通过作品传递精神内涵,这些都是现代社会所提倡的理念,因此具有极大的可拓展空间。王亚雄的作品,越来越受到人们的喜欢,还成为许多青年艺术家学习和追慕的对象,后者也是对他创造力最好的肯定。最近本刊专门邀请他就其观念、技术和理想等内容做了一次采访,从中我们可以看到一位中国艺术家的情志、抱负和责任。
Wang Ya-Xiong is an artist devoted to the creation of arts and crafts. His creations include furniture, stationery, tea sets, wine sets, book bindings, furnishings, etc., covering a wide range of areas and unique elegance. What is particularly rare is that in his works, there are not only the aesthetic ideals of the traditional literati, but also the true feelings of the modern people who love nature, love life and are positive. Moreover, his creative approach is very characteristic, and the full use of natural materials, can be used in life, and emphasizes the spiritual content through the work, these are the ideas advocated by modern society, so there is a great room for expansion. Wang Ya-xiong’s works, more and more people like it, has also become the object of study and chasing many young artists, which is also the best of his creativity in the affirmation. Recently, we specifically invited him to give an interview on his concepts, techniques and ideals, from which we can see the emotion, aspiration and responsibility of a Chinese artist.
