玉米是众所公认的高产作物,它产量的迅速提高,应归于自交系间杂交优势的利用。实践证明,玉米单产提高的因素30％来源于杂交种的作用,70％来源于栽培技术。只要杂交种选用得当,良种良法结合得好,在同等条件下比一般品种平均每亩可增产100斤,高的可达150斤,甚至更多。玉米杂交优势的利用,明显超过了其它作物的增产幅度。
Corn is a well-recognized high-yield crop and its rapid increase in yield should be attributed to the use of hybrids in inbreds. Practice has proved that 30% of the factors that increase corn yield come from the role of hybrids, 70% from the cultivation techniques. As long as the hybrids are properly selected, good varieties of good law combined well, under the same conditions than the average varieties per mu yield 100 kg, up to 150 pounds or more. The utilization of hybridization advantages of maize significantly surpassed that of other crops.
