2013年11月16日,由上海市历史学会与《史林》编辑部合办的学术沙龙“21世纪我们如何书写历史”在上海社科院历史所举行。此次活动旨在促进学者之间的交流和学术刊物与学者之间的互动。来自国内外的三十多名专家学者围绕历史研究中遇到的问题展开热烈讨论:(一)历史书要有时代感,也要继承传统历史书写的内容永远是过去,但是也不是完全脱离时代,没有时代感的历史书写很难引起读者
On November 16, 2013, the academic salon “How We Write History in the 21st Century” co-organized by Shanghai History Society and Shi Lin Editorial Department was held in the history of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences. The event aims to promote the exchange of scholars and the interaction between academic journals and scholars. More than 30 experts and scholars from home and abroad have heated discussions on the problems encountered in historical research: (1) Historical books must have a sense of the times and inherit the content of traditional history writing is always the past, but not completely out of the times No historical writing can hardly arouse readers
