我是一九七一年九月开始搞地震测报工作的,是我省第一批业余测报员。三年多来,在毛主席革命路线指引下,在各级党组织的关怀培养下,在专业队伍的帮助下,发扬“自力更生”、“艰苦奋斗”的革命精神,依靠群众,走土法上马、因陋就简、自己武装自己的道路,先后建立并巩固了两个测报点,培训了三百多名业余测报员,共向三万多人宣传了党的地震工作方针和地震知识,并利用业余时间和节假日,收集整理了一本六万多字的《地震及予防知识》。三年多来,我们利用自己制造的一些土设备,坚持测报不断线,努力摸索地震予报的规律,较成功地做过四次予报。

We tried our best to find out the law of the earthquake and reported it successfully four times.
