Why do we need to further open up the 14 port cities? This is an important strategic decision for our country to develop its economy in the new historical period. In the past few years, China has taken the opportunity to hold Sino-foreign joint ventures and co-operate enterprises as well as allow merchants to hold sole proprietorship enterprises in China in terms of actively utilizing foreign capital and introducing advanced technologies.
