习近平总书记在“7·26”重要讲话中充分肯定了党的十八大以来全面从严治党取得的历史性成绩,指出“成绩值得充分肯定,经验值得深入总结”。回顾这五年全面从严治党的生动实践,其中一条重要经验就是,把纪律建设作为治本之策,以党章为根本遵循,通过挺纪在前、抓早抓小,把管党治党的纪律规矩立起来、严起来、执行到位,推动全面从严治党向纵深发展。这一经验弥足珍贵,在新的历史起点上更加准确把握管党治党规律、更好发挥纪律建设在全面从严治党中的治本作用、深入推进党的建设新的伟大工程具有十分重要的意义。
