陈诚(1898~1965),浙江青田人,国民党陆军一级上将。作为黄埔军校的教官,陈诚自黄埔军校成立后一直就是蒋介石的心腹之一,其领导的派系亦有“土木系”之称。“土木系”将领主要出身于第十八军第十一师,因“十一”组合为“土”、“十八”组合为“木”故而得名。其主力在淮海战役时被解放军消灭。无论在史书上,还是在人们的印象中,陈诚始终被人们视为蒋介石的股肱和心
