Yunyan District is one of the central urban areas in Guiyang, with a total area of 67.5 square kilometers and a township of 15 street offices, 114 community neighborhood committees and 13 administrative villages with a resident population of 556,500. Since the reform and opening up, Yunyan District has persisted in taking economic construction as the center, and vigorously implemented the four strategies of “revitalization through science and education,” “market-driven,” “open-up and driven,” and “sustainable development.” Its economic strength has been continuously enhanced and its regional outlook has changed with each passing day. In 1999, the provincial party committee and the provincial government promulgated the Opinions on the Construction of Economic Strong County, Yunyan District was listed as the province’s first batch of construction
