In the Eastern Jin Dynasty （317 – 420）， a man named Yin Hao once worked as the Commander of the Central Troop in the army. He was once given the title as the “General of Jianwu” and the right of commanding the troops of Yangzhou， Yuzhou， Xuzhou， Chongzhou and Qingzhou. However， he was removed from his posts after being defeated in a war.
In spite of his loss in the battlefield， he was still a respected man with a lot of academic knowledge. He was very familiar with the Chinese classic works like Laozi， The Book of Changes and so on. He usually quoted the classic works to make his speeches more articulate， convincing and impressive.
He had a nephew named Han Kanbo. He was a clever lad and good at talking. Yin Hao was very fond of him， but was very strict with him. After being fired by the government， he moved to countryside in the companion of Han Kangbo. Once， Yin Hao saw Han Kangbo speaking to others. He went to him to hear what he said. However， he found that Han Kangbo was only speaking of what he said before and did not add any of his own opinions into it. In spite of this， he still felt good and appeared to be complacent. Yin Hao was displeased and said to Han： “How could you feel so good even though you have not picked up the leftover of my teeth？ It is not a correct attitude.”
