我省植物病害种类繁多,发生普遍而严重。据1926到1962年30多年的不完全记载,在本省报导的植病有1088种,分别发生于339种植物上。计有农作物病害255种,蔬菜病害158种,果树病害179种,树木病害292种,其他植物病害204种。1962年后在本省新报导的植物病寄还有数百种,正在整理中。解放后我省的植物病害防治工作取得很大成绩。但由于林彪、“四人帮”的破坏、加之对植物病害发生危害认识不足和工作中的缺点,使我省有些病害得以广泛传播蔓
A wide range of plant diseases in our province, the occurrence of widespread and serious. According to the incomplete records of more than 30 years from 1926 to 1962, there were 1088 plant diseases reported in the province, taking place on 339 species of plants respectively. There were 255 crop diseases, 158 vegetable diseases, 179 tree diseases, 292 tree diseases and 204 other plant diseases. There are hundreds of newly reported plant diseases in the province after 1962, and they are being sorted out. After the liberation of our province plant disease prevention and control work has made great achievements. However, due to the destruction of Lin Biao and the “gang of four,” as well as the lack of knowledge on the hazards of plant diseases and the shortcomings in their work, some diseases have been widely spread in our province
