江泽民同志指出:“我国法制建设的进程正在不断加快,提高领导干部的法律素质已成为一项紧迫要求”。这一重要指示向我们提出了一个全局性、长远性和根本性的重大战略任务。抓好提高领导干部法律素质这一任务的落实,应当是当前和今后一个时期法制建设的一个重点。
Comrade Jiang Zemin pointed out: “The process of building the legal system in our country is constantly accelerating. It has become an urgent demand to improve the legal quality of leading cadres.” This important instruction has given us a major strategic task of a global, long-term and fundamental nature. The implementation of the task of improving the legal quality of leading cadres should be the focus of the legal system construction at present and in the coming period.
