西峡县位于伏牛山南麓,境内沟河纵横,山川相连。森林茂盛,雨量充沛。全县最大的河流老鹳河自西北向东南斜穿全境,淇河、丁河、蛇尾河和丹水河纵横其间。据调查,全县多年平均径流总量9.77亿立方米,另外还有4.29亿立方米的入境客水量,拥有可开发水能资源10.43万千瓦。
Xixia County is located in the southern foot of the Funiu Shan, the territory of ditch vertical and horizontal mountains and rivers connected. Forests flourish, with abundant rainfall. The county’s largest river old stork River from northwest to southeast oblique through the whole territory, Qi River, Dinghe, Shewei River and Dan River during the aspect. According to the survey, the total annual runoff of the county averaged 977 million cubic meters, with an additional 429 million cubic meters of inbound water and an exploitable hydropower resource of 104,300 kilowatts.
