通过在埃及担任非洲武术教练员裁判员培训班教员的机会，对中国武术在非洲传播的状况进行了调查，发现影响武术在非洲传播的主要因素有：非洲气候炎热，经济落后，缺乏武术教练员，而且还缺乏得到武术书籍、录像带、器械等的途径。最后提出对策：把非洲作为武术向国际传播的重要领地，帮助非洲各国建立全国性武术组织，以组织的形式传播武术，并争取早日加入国际武联，在非洲各国培训本国武术教练，国际武联与我驻非使馆配合进一步加大武术在非洲的推广和开展。
