为了适应广大水文工作者和水文专业学生学习英、俄语以及阅读和翻译英俄文书刊的需要,长办水文局正在组织人员编译《英俄汉水文词汇》.计划今年完成初稿,明年出版.本书系根据苏联出版的《英俄水文词汇》编译.包括水文、地理、冰川、海洋、水文地质、水工、农业、土壤学、土壤改良、林业、气象、运河、海运以及给水等方面的常用词汇约一万四千条.
