Colorectal cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors of the digestive tract, and its morbidity and mortality are among the top 3 malignancies. Liver, lung metastasis is the leading cause of death. The mechanism of tumor metastasis is not clear yet. Studies in recent years have demonstrated that chemokines and receptors play an important role in tumor metastasis. Chemokines are a family of small molecule cytokine proteins that exert chemotaxis by binding to chemokine receptors. Chemokines and receptors, in addition to being able to direct chemotactic inflammatory cells in the inflammatory response, have recently been found to play an important role in the metastatic behavior of tumors. The progress of chemokines and their receptors in colorectal cancer is reviewed.
