通过对南召县苹果园土壤营养状况和丰产园施肥状况的初步研究，发现该区果园土壤有机质严重不足，氮和钾不同程度地缺乏，而磷含量丰富；调查分析表明，南召县苹果丰产园每生产１００ ｋｇ 苹果需１ ．２０ ｋｇ Ｎ、０ ．５４ ｋｇ Ｐ２ Ｏ５ 和０ ．７６ ｋｇ Ｋ２ Ｏ。
