Objective: To investigate the effect of acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training on recovery stage of stroke patients. Methods: A total of 240 stroke patients were selected and divided into two groups according to the random number table. The control group (108 cases) was given acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training. NIHSS score, Fugl-Meyer score and SF-36 scale score at 3 months after treatment were observed and recorded after three months of treatment. The therapeutic effect of acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training on the recovery stage of stroke patients was evaluated. Results: After treatment, the effective rate in the observation group was 93.9%, the effective rate in the control group was 81.5%, and the effective rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P <0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference between the NIHSS and Fugl-Meyer scores (P> 0.05) Three months after treatment, the NIHSS scores decreased significantly in both groups and the observation group decreased more, the Fugl-Meyer score increased significantly and the observation group increased more (P <0.05). Before treatment, There was no significant difference in the scores of SF-36. At 3 months after treatment, the SF-36 scores of both groups were significantly increased (P <0.05). The scores of vitality, emotional function and mental health in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in the other five scores (P> 0.05). Conclusion: Acupuncture combined with rehabilitation training can promote the recovery of patients with stroke and improve neurological impairment and motor function effectively, and improve the quality of life of patients.
