1993年6月29日至30日,中国期刊协会在武汉召开了以“期刊如何更好地为建设有中国特色社会主义服务”为主题的座谈会。新闻出版署期刊司司长、中国期刊协会常务副会长张伯海主持了座谈会。中宣部、新闻出版署、国家科委、解放军总政治部与各地期刊社、期刊管理部门的74位代表参加了座谈会。国家新闻出版署副署长王强华、中宣部出版局期刊处处长邬书林、国家科委信息司副司长胡海棠等同志,分别就本部门在新闻出版工作方面的精神和要求,做了报告。与会代表在小组会和大会上作了热烈的讨论和发言。围绕会议主题,大家分别就以下问题畅谈了看法,取得共同的认识。
From June 29 to June 30, 1993, China Association of Periodicals held a symposium in Wuhan on the theme of “How Periodicals Can Serve the Construction of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics”. Zhang Bohai, director of the periodical press department of the Press and Publication Administration and executive vice president of the China Journal Association, presided over the symposium. 74 representatives of the Central Propaganda Department, the Press and Publication Administration, the State Science and Technology Commission, the PLA General Political Department and various periodicals and periodicals administration departments attended the symposium. Wang Qianghua, deputy director of the State Press and Publication Administration, Wu Shulin, director of the Periodical Publications Department of the Central Propaganda Department and Hu Haitang, deputy director of the Information Science Department of the State Science and Technology Commission, made speeches on the spirit and requirements of their respective departments in press and publication work report. Participants in the group meetings and the General Assembly made a lively discussion and speech. Around the theme of the conference, everyone talked about the following issues and gained common understanding.
