党的十四届六中全会是在我国改革开放和社会主义现代化建设的关键时期召开的一次十分重要的会议。全会审议并通过的《中共中央关于加强社会主义精神文明建设若干重要问题的决议》,对十一届三中全会以后18年来精神文明建设的经验作了深刻的总结,使之更加系统化、理论化;对存在的问题作了透辟的分析,并提出了解决问题的思路、对策和办法;同时对社会主义精神文明建设特别是思想道德和文化建设作出了全面部署,既有很强的战略性,思想性,指导性,又有很强的现实针对性和可操作性,是继十二届六中全会《中共中央关于社会主义精神文明建设指导方针的决议》之后,今后一个时期指导我国社会主义精神文明建设的纲领性文件。为了帮助学员更好地学习十四届六中全会文件,我们特刊载中共中央党校科学社会主义教研部编写的《学习中共十四届六中全会文件十二讲》。
The 6th Plenary Session of the 14th Central Committee of the Party is a very important meeting held in the crucial period of China’s reform and opening up and socialist modernization.
