莫言的中篇小说在塑造传统女性形象表现女性无意识地压抑自己的同时也在一定程度上透露出作为男性作家的无意识。然而,从部分女性形象中可以看出,莫言还有意识地站在女性的立场上反思男权社会、否定性别等级观念,高扬女性主体能动性,积极理解和认同女性的生命意识和欲望本能。男性作家对性别意识的反思正是两性间平等对话与和谐共存的前提,也是和谐的两性生存状态与精神融洽发展的需要。
Mo Yan’s novella, in shaping the traditional image of women, depresses women unconsciously, and at the same time, reveals unconsciousness as a male writer. However, it can be seen from the images of some women that Mo Yan also conscientiously stood in the position of women to reflect on patriarchal society, negate the concept of gender hierarchy, promote the initiative of female subjects, and actively understand and recognize women’s life consciousness and desire instinct. The reflection of gender awareness by male writers is precisely the prerequisite for equal dialogue and harmonious coexistence between the sexes and the need for harmonious coexistence and harmonious development of both sexes.
